Subaru Shares the Love in Sanford, Florida  –  Sherry F

On December 5, 2019, Meals on Wheels, Etc., Subaru of America, and Mastro Subaru of Orlando joined forces to showcase Subaru's "Share the Love Event". As Neighborhood Dining seniors enjoyed a festive party and holiday meals with all the trimmings, Meals on Wheels staff and local organizations provided hundreds of personal gift items for elderly residents in Seminole County, Florida. Gift items were loaded in our Subaru Outback for delivery to clients!

Mastro Subaru Blanket Delivery  –  Megan R

On July 1st, 2019 the North and Central Florida Chapter and Mastro Subaru of Orlando had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets to AdventHealth East Infusion Center as part of the Subaru Loves To Care program. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff of Mastro Subaru. This incredible act of generosity was warmly received by the AdventHealth Infusion Center staff who were thrilled to help distribute these comforting gifts to their patients. LLS is proud to partner with Subaru to spread hope, love and warmth to those fighting cancer, across the country and right here in the North and Central Florida community.

Subaru feeds seniors in Seminole County  –  Sherry F

After receiving our Subaru Outback as a result of 50 cars for 50 years, this vehicle has been delivering meals to homebound seniors in Seminole County. Mastro Subaru of Orlando, our local partner, has supported Meals on Wheels, Etc. for many years now. During our "Share the Love" campaign, salespeople helped deliver meals!

Thanks to a generous donation from Subaru of America, our agency (Meals on Wheels, Etc. in Sanford, FL) is able to deliver more meals to homebound seniors, particularly in outlying areas of Seminole County. Mastro Subaru of Orlando is our local contact. Joe and his staff are great! They help us in a number of ways during the holidays - delivering meals, assisting in the kitchen operation, and sponsoring the annual client holiday party. We love Subaru!

Subaru Outback at MARCH FOR MEALS  –  sherry f

Our Subaru Outback, donated by Subaru of America/Meals on Wheels America, was proudly displayed at our recent MARCH FOR MEALS fundraiser on March 24,2018. The event took place at the beautiful Riverwalk on Lake Monroe. A 2.5 mile walk was held to bring awareness to the local community about hunger among the elderly and the need for nutritious meals to serve this population. A breakfast and speeches followed the walk at the Sanford Civic Center. The Outback was front and center for all to admire.
